Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Sherrie Williams, founder of Speckled Learners and a proud Columbus, Ohio native. With over 20 years in education, I’ve worked as a tutor, substitute, and licensed classroom teacher supporting students who learn differently and need individualized support.

Family shapes everything I do. I’m the mother of two adult daughters (one who is now my angel in heaven) and the grandmother of twin granddaughters. These experiences guide my compassionate, student-centered approach to teaching.

I hold a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University, a Master’s in K–12 Curriculum and Instruction, and a grades 4–9 license in Math and Language Arts. Speckled Learners was created to ensure every child feels seen, supported, and capable of success.
