MEET SHERRIE N. WILLIAMS, M.ED

Hi, I'm Sherrie N. Williams

I'm the Owner and Operator of Speckled Learners, and a proud Columbus, Ohio native. With over 20 years in education—as a tutor, substitute, and licensed classroom teacher—I created Speckled Learners to partner with families, educators, and the community in supporting students who need instruction tailored to how they learn best.

I hold a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University, a Master’s in K–12 Curriculum and Instruction, and a grades 4–9 teaching license in Math and Language Arts. For over 11 years, I’ve helped students close learning gaps, build confidence, and rediscover their strengths through individualized, research-based instruction.

I believe every child deserves to feel seen, capable, and understood. My experiences as an educator, mother, and grandmother have shown me that when learning is personalized and rooted in compassion, students don’t just improve academically—they gain confidence in themselves.
